We’re proud to announce the launch of Art Link Share, a ground breaking online initiative designed to empower individuals, groups, and organisations across Ireland through the sharing and redistribution of skills, materials, and equipment.
Art Link Share is a digital platform that enables everyone to contribute what they can, and take what they need, to produce projects, host events and workshops, develop informal networks, share knowledge, and bring new ideas to life within their own neighbourhoods. Built on the principles of mutual aid, solidarity, and collective action, this free-to-use platform reflects over three decades of work developing collaborative projects with individuals and groups that enrich the social fabric in Cork City, and encourage full participation in cultural life.
As a community arts organisation, we know how hard it is for people to access the resources they need to develop new initiatives and this new platform is an open invitation to everyone, across the country, to build an autonomous community network based on solidarity and friendship.
So, how does this work?
Easy. If you have a little time to spare, knowledge to share, materials that can be used by somebody else, equipment you no longer need, or are willing to lend, then list it on this space. That’s your gift to the membership. When you need something: a helping hand, a tool, a lift, a cup of tea, a length of timber, then search for it on the list. That’s a members gift to you.
