Volunteer Workshops
Open workshops where everyone can drop in and help us build props and accessories in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. No experience required
When: Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2nd September - 23rd October

What Time: Anytime between 2pm - 5pm on Wednesdays and Fridays and 2pm - 8pm on Thursdays

Costume Workshops
Open workshops to assist our costume designer (that would be Bindu). We're looking for anyone interested in learning the basics of sewing and needlework and helping on scary costumes, headpieces and accessories, as well as experienced machinists, pattern drafters and first time costume makers. All levels welcome.
When: Drop in Monday evenings from 21st September - October 29th

What Time: 6pm - 8pm
Embossed Aluminium Crown Workshops
Over the course of 4 weeks you will learn the craft technique of metal embossing. Using recycled aluminium and simple tools, you'll shape, texture and emboss the material to create our own handmade crown. By participating in this workshop you'll be part of a group in the parade and take your artwork home after the Dragon.
When: Every Tuesday evening from 29th September - October 20th

Where: The Glen Community Gardens on Mondays, Kempton Park, Ballyvolane on Tuesdays and St. Mary's Campus, Gurranabraher on Wednesdays
What Time: 10am - 12pm in The Glen, 2pm - 4pm in Ballyvolane and 10am - 12pm in St. Marys Campus

Trailer Drivers Wanted
We're looking for trailer drivers to help transport floats and equipment for The Dragon of Shandon. You'll need your own vehicle with a tow bar, insurance and a full driving licence (Category BE preferred) and experience towing trailers.
